The pe9ghz.org website was moved to an other hosting place, as the pricing of the former hosting company had increased more than six-fold.
Started a new project: Building a 10Watt (or 20Watt) SSPA (Solid State Power Amplifier) for 10GHz
A new project-page was added, describing a simple 12V to 24V DC/DC converter to drive a 24V coaxial relay from a 12/13V supply usually found in SHF transverters. A PCB artwork is provided too.
Like in previous years, I'll participate in JOTA 2012on 19 - 20 october with my callsign PE9GHZ/J at the Frans Naerebout Groepin Goes. More info on the PE9GHZ/J JOTA PAGE. Photo's of building the antenna tower are here!
I'm asking other Ham's in the area to help / assist during the weekend. Please contact me if you want to help!
Recently I bought a batch of 3,3nF/200V feedthrough capacitors from Baco Army shop, but despite the description stating M5 thread this wasn't true. Instead it appeared to be 12-32 UNEF thread, so I ordered a special Tap for this thread from a Chinese store on Ebay.
I updated the LO-locking page with new info (and test results on 10GHz !!!) regarding the "Small Beacon transmitters" using PLL locked SMT VCO's. The Small Beacon transmitters project is now moved to a separate page.
New page added about building a homemade 3el LFA 50MHz yagi antenna.
Added a new page about my 23cm SSPA project. The page contains a lot of pictures a made in the course of the project.
I've updated the LO-locking page with info about my latest project, building small personal beacons for 13 and 23cm using SMT VCOs PLL-locked to 10MHz frequency standard.
A new page was added with my worked Squares on Google Maps (and the GM Javascript API).
A page with my worked squares maps has been added. Currently only 50MHz and 1296MHz, as these bands are the only ones that I am active on from my home QTH.
I've added my logbook under the Home menu. I'll try to add new entries to the log as soon as possible, nearly "live". The layout of the log will change, I'm still searching for the best format.
I've started a new project which involves designing and building a 70MHz transverter.
New pe9ghz.org site was launched today. After having tried many different content management systems, the decision was made to use CMS Made Simple.
